   The internet, mobile phones and social media allow activists in different countries to share information, coordinate protests and mobilise support very quickly.
2. Examples:
   The World Social Forum brings together thousands of organisations from across the world to oppose neo-liberal globalisation, and its Indian version is the Indian Social Forum.

Global environmental campaigns against climate change, and international human rights networks such as Amnesty International, are other examples of movements that work across national boundaries.
