Prestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR), Indore, is a private management institute established in 1994 under the Prestige Education Foundation, founded on the vision of Padma Shri Shri N. N. Jain. It was conferred autonomous status by the University Grants Commission in 2006 and has since been granted further autonomy cycles; it is recognised by UGC under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) and approved by AICTE. The institute is accredited with NAAC Grade A++ and has been accredited by NAAC three times. PIMR is regarded as one of the leading business schools in Central India and is the only institution among Indore's major private management colleges to also offer Law programmes. The campus hosts the AIC Prestige incubation centre, which supports student-led startups with workspace, mentoring and access to seed funding. The institute has signed international MoUs with universities in Thailand, Argentina and the Czech Republic, and more than 57,000 students have graduated from PIMR.
