Malwa Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) is a private technical institute in Indore located at Limbodagari on Hatod Road, behind Aurobindo Hospital. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal for engineering programmes and Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore for management programmes. The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses spanning engineering, management, computer applications and allied health sciences, with a total sanctioned intake of over 1,100 students. Engineering branches include Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical, Civil and Electronics and Communication Engineering, and the institute also runs BBA, BCA, MBA and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy programme. Admission to B.Tech is on the basis of JEE Main scores through Madhya Pradesh DTE counselling, and diploma admission uses MPPET scores. Graduates have been placed with companies such as Videocon, NIIT Technologies, Collabera and Wide Vision Technologies, with a reported highest package of Rs 15.40 LPA.
