Maharaja Ranjit Singh College of Professional Sciences (MRSC) is a private college in Indore established in 1994 by the Indo Friends Foundation Trust, a non-political and non-profit public trust. The Hemkunt Campus is located on Khandwa Road near the Institute of Engineering and Technology, DAVV, and spreads over about 10 acres. The college is affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, approved by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh, recognised under UGC 2(f) and 12(B), and accredited by NAAC with a B++ grade at 2.99 CGPA. It offers UG programmes in BA, BBA, BCA, B.Com and B.Sc, PG programmes in M.Com and M.Sc, and doctoral and research programmes, with the Division of Plant Tissue Culture receiving research funding from MPCST and MPBTC. The associated Maharaja Ranjit Singh Group of Institutions, established in 2009, runs MBA with an intake of 180 seats affiliated to DAVV and MCA with 60 seats affiliated to RGPV. More than 80 percent of the faculty hold PhD degrees, and the library holds over 30,000 books, magazines, CDs and journals.
